The Second Annual All Jane No Dick Comedy Festival is returning to Northeast Portland on October 17th-20th. The first and only festival of its kind, this four-day event features a carefully-curated blend of the best rising comedic performers and nationally headlining comics from across the country and beyond.

This year’s lineup includes national acts Bonnie McFarlane (BUST's Lady Laugh-inHBO One-Night Stand, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Last Comic Standing), Lauren Lapkus (Orange Is the New Black, The To-Do List, Are You There Chelsea?), Cameron Esposito (The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, “Put Your Hands Together”), and Aparna Nancherla and Janine Brito (writers and performers on Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell). Local performers include Portland staples Whitney Streed, Stacey Hallal, Barbara Holm, JoAnn Schinderle, Susan Rice, Amy Miller, and expatriate Virginia Jones.

The goal of this festival is to celebrate the unique voices of women in comedy, inspiring and increasing visibility for the performers of today and tomorrow. Programming for All Jane No Dick 2013 includes stand-up showcases, improv, sketches, podcasts, panel discussions, workshops, and the Portland premiere of the documentary feature Women Aren’t Funny, produced and directed by headliner Bonnie McFarlane.

Most events will take place at the Curious Comedy Theater located at 5225 N. Martin Luther King Dr., which produces and sponsors the festival. Two special Friday night shows at Alberta Rose Theater (3000 N. Alberta St.) have been added. The film screening will be held at the historic Hollywood Theater (4122 NE Sandy Blvd.) on Sunday, October 20th.
