NYC Zine Fest This Weekend!

If you love reading and making zines as much as I do, then stop by the NYC Zine Fest this weekend at the Brooklyn Lyceum. I will be having a table on both days selling my zines (for a dollar!) and some specialty items for 5 bucks and up. After over two years of battling cancer, Farrah Fawcett passed away this morning in a hospital in Santa Monica, California with her husband, Ryan O'Neil, at her side. Shoebox To Soapbox.

According to the Daily News, a newborn baby girl was found inside of a shoebox , abandoned in a Long Island apartment building. The shoebox had holes in it so that the infant could breathe, and she was dressed in a striped onsie to keep her warm.  Police speculate that she was placed where she would be found quickly by whoever left her.  Allow me to hop right up on my soapbox.  When I see news like this, it makes me so angry ...
