You know how the media can't stop talking about Michelle Obamas arms? How they think it means she's 'strong-arming' her husband? how she's gonna win the arms race? how she's giving American women the right to bare arms? well, the arms themselves have decided to enter the fray of bad puns and semiotic limb deconstruction with a blog of their own. Benny Does it Again

Posted by: Web Intern in General |

Every once in a while there is a person that makes me wonder if they are seriously just waking up in the morning a thinking to themselves 'hmmmm, how can i best aggravate volatile situations, wreak havoc on the world and generally behave like a massive ass?' I'm not talking about those people who consider it some sort of aristotelian duty to annoy all they come across (ahem, Dad). I'm talking about a person who seems to want to murder basic ... I've always loved outrageously sinister villians, and they did a fun job with the squid like Gallaxhar. Even tho he is a squid, he has a monkey face, just like MJJ, and an extremely large brain. I actually loved ... Read More

WAM! Wrapup

Posted by: Sarah J. in Feminizzle |

I survived WAM! 2009. More importantly, I had a wonderful time. Meeting and connecting with women I've looked up to for years (Abby Scher , Sarah Posner , Julia Serano ) and bloggers I love (Jill, Cara and Jack from Feministe, Sally from Jump Off the Bridge, Tammy from Bitch) in a space where everyone talks to everyone and new friendships form as quickly on Twitter as they did in the halls was inspiring. Speaking of Twitter, the WAM ... Read More
