Dirty, Dangerous Dancing

I feel as though I should start with a declaimer: 

Content in this blog may be unsuitable for children. Actually, if you’re a girl under the age of 18, please don’t continue reading. I don’t want to be responsible for exposing an entire generation of young woman to this. So just go do your homework or something.   

It’s unclear whether this dance move originated in Brazilian nightclubs or their bedrooms, but I can only assume sex was initially involved. Either way, it serves as proof that we should never underestimate what Brazilian ladies can do with their enviable derrieres. 

The dance is called Surra de Bunda. Translation: “spanking with your ass.” 

I’m sure your imagination is already running wild so allow me to explain how it goes... 

A woman does a tacky little dance around a guy sitting on the floor. She then gets down, straps her legs around his head, and proceeds to slam her ass into his face a few times. Afterwards, she gets up and shakes her groove thang a bit more, teasing the guy. For the grand finale, she throws her body down between his legs as though she were trying to crush his inevitable erection. 

That said, I should probably offer another disclaimer: 

This dance should only be attempted by professionals. And by professionals, I mean strippers. I would also recommend having the male victim sign a waver before hand.

Upon viewing this a few times, I found myself pondering two things:

          1. Is this more degrading to the man or the woman?

          2. If this were a sex move in the U.S, what would be a good name for it?

That is really stupid looking! And yet, I couldn't help but laugh through the whole thing. The look on the guys' faces when the ladies slammed onto their laps is priceless. I know it isn't nice to laugh at the pain of others, but it was still freaking funny!

1. i personally would not like this at all; however, that is due to my individual tastes. if you really want to know who it is more degrading to, then you must answer the question with cultural relativism. you cannot judge this from the standards of our culture. knowing very little about brazilian culture, so i cannot answer this question. i will say that both the men and women dancers seemed to be having a good time.

2.it should be called "face-bucking", because she looks like a bucking bronco when slamming into his face. and the work "buck" is so close to another certain word.

I don't think you can really beat a name like "spanking with your ass" although maybe we could simplify and just go with "the ass spank dance"- I can't wait to giggle when I hear this has started showing up on exotic dancing workout videos.

I was in Rio this past February for Carnival and didn't run into this at all, although you can see some serious ass shaking just in Samba dancing alone. This isn't nearly as interesting. Looks more like pro wrestling than dancing to me. smilies/cheesy.gif

I wonder, really, how big this is. I mean it makes such a great splash for the video camera, but... well, this seems more like a novelty act than a "new dance craze" that some people are calling it.

I am always hesitant when someone suggests that something is "degrading to men" since men are usually the ones in power, but andrewd is right about judging from within the right cultural context, and in Brazil sex and dance are very different from what they are here.

I love it. The guys seem to love it too. Winners all around!So funny. I don't think its degrading to anyone,(why must it be degrading?), but it's interesting to point out that the men are getting the worst end of the move, what with the face slamming, but I think they totally dig it, I think every man is a little bit masochist inside. i don't think I have what it takes to try it on my husband, but I'm sure he would love it.

saw a move similar to the ass slapping the face move at a strip club. she grabbed the back of the guy's head by putting one leg behind his neck and pulled it toward her behind. saw it like two years ago.

Strippers in the US have been doing this for years. Men pay well for this sort of abuse. And the stripper gets to work out a little aggression. It's all in good fun. Whiplash maybe, but no one has lost an eye yet.

As for the question of degradation...if it's a consensual activity, then where's the degradation? Why should there be any? Not everyone likes the same things.

While I don't want a man's ass slamming into my face, I'm more than happy to wrap my ankles around the neck of a smiling man and slam him into my flexed butt. These are the sort of differences that make the world go round.

I'm assuming you're talking about French hydrangeas, the ones with blue or pink flowers. With most of them, what you want to do is cut back stalks just after their flowers fade.
