Salsa. Tecate Tallboys. Mariachi Band. OH MY!!!
This Sunday, Sept 12th, there will be a salsa eating party at The Bell House in Brooklyn! Twenty local salsa makers will be showin' off their tomato crushing skills and will be competing for the SALSA SLAM grand prize. Tickets are $12 / $15 at the door. What a way to spend a Sunday! ¡Estoy muy emocionada!

But you need to understand something... not all of your readers are in NYC/Brooklyn (or LA.)
For instance, Austin has a lot going on all 12 months of the year, not just SxSW in March. (We even had a giant salsa competition a couple of weeks ago, since you seem to like that sort of thing.)
I'm sure the same could be said about Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Miami... etc.
I am so sorry to whine, but this really struck me the other day when I was looking through the blog posts-- NYC this, Brooklyn that.
We all wish we could live in the brilliant Big Apple, but alas, some of us can't handle teh awesomeness (nor the rent.)
And hey, put we the readers to work if you want to cover more local events all over the USofA! I'm sure there are lots of badass goings-on we'd love to have you promote!
