Well I have been here in Austin for SXSW since Tuesday, but am just settling down at a computer now because there is SO much going on that I literally haven't had my hands free for a second! Lena Dunham's second feature which had its premiere at SXSW this week won the Narrative Feature prize and Dunham was also awarded with the emergent narrative woman director prize!

This is not your mother's Ramona. Watching the trailer for Elizabeth Allen's upcoming Ramona and Beezus made me feel tingly all over. Not in a good way. check out the trailer, below. There’s something hyper-sexualized about Beezus (Disney darling Selena Gomez) that is nothing like what I remember from Beverly Cleary’s books. This leaves a lot of work for Joey King as Ramona.
