Review: Mike Mills' Beginners

Director, writer, and graphic designer Mike Mills (whose first film was 2005’s Thumbsucker) has a new movie out June 3rd called Beginners—a beautiful film about love, death, and new beginnings. NYC Popfest was this past weekend and it was filled with fun, friends, pop songs, and dance parties. Amongst a sea of cardigans, glasses and plaid, a few pop kids pulled out all the stops from fancy dresses to YSL tees.
