It's no secret that kids say and do the darndest things. The absolute darndest. So it should come as no surprise that hilarious, precocious, and delightfully obnoxious kids have become the subjects for countless YouTube favorites. I’ve picked some cherished, pee-your-pants videos--I hope you enjoy.
Anna Graceman, the talented 11-year-old from this season of America’s Got Talent, isn't the only member of the Graceman family who's starting her celebrity young. Anna posted an adorable YouTube video of her younger sister, a 5 year-old with some pretty staunch opinions on marriage and self-reliance. She explains, “I don’t care if I marry you or another man. I care if I do something special.” Lady, you are a breath of fresh air:
Her family posted a sequel in which this savvy kid explains that she's discovered her dream job! As an aspiring comedian/writer, she's looking to emulate Jerry Seinfeld. Add a few airplane jokes and you're almost there, kid:
When one mom asked her 3-year-old asked about monsters, she got a concise, perfect response. Kids cursing adds an automatic "thumbs-up" factor to any YouTube video:
In the next video, one little girl offers an acid-trip version of a kitten-filled picture book. A 6-year-old Maddy Kelly takes viewers through a bizarre and fantastic storytelling experience in this, my personal favorite kid video:
Coming off the holiday season, most of us can identify with the family drama the next little girl's talking about. She gives her dad a diatribe on all the ways she hates her aunt (translation thankfully provided):
As younguns, most of us were, at one time, probably shocked or horrified by the mechanics of sex. This 9-year-old boy assures us that it's "disgusting" and that he'll do it only when he's older to have a child (and may throw-up as a result). His sister, who filmed the video, promises to play this at his wedding:
Screw the Teletubbies and the Wiggles--if you want to make this girl happy, you've gotta blast some Kid Cudi:
Children aren't generally known for their funkiness, but this girl tears up her tile floor to a dancehall song. You'll be trying to imitate this all night:
The last video is a viral video classic, and an example of how all of us should start our days. Tell it on the mountain, Jessica!
This is just a small sampling of the lil' wonders on YouTube: share your favorites in the comment section below.
