Hasidic hot pants, black gayby's, extreme dildo jousts, anal bleaching, these are just a few of the outrageous jokes in Sasha Baron Cohen's new Bruno flick. While the unofficial title, 'Delicious Journeys Through America For The Purpose Of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T- shirt,' explains alot, the very Borat like story line is most successful at pointing out how stupid people can be. I laughed a lot, I cringed a lot, but also felt bad for the poor suckers that signed release forms to be in this movie. (It'll be interesting to see who sues this time!) Their shining ignorance really makes you sad for the state of humanity. One of the worst scenes is where parents of prospective baby models are interviewed by Bruno and agree to sick and wildly inappropriate scenes that their children would pose for, the worst being a mother who agrees to try and make her 30 pound baby lose 10 pounds in a week in order to land the job. Overall, Cohen nails the homophobics, but I'm sure alot of the gays are going to be very upset with this movie, and one could worry that Brüno's crazy over the top antics could fuel the homophobes anger even more. But you have to hand it to Cohen for sheer comedic balls for going out and making a flick like this. On a completely random side note, I think he looks like Mark Arm from Mudhoney :) If you didn't like Borat, dont go see this movie. But if you are like me, and don't mind jaw gaping political incorrectness, grab a friend and be prepared to laugh till ya cry.
