We’re super excited to share this awesome new song with you! JAN, the new solo project from Kim Talon of art-rock duo Eagle and Talon, is releasing her debut album, JAN, today, and BUST has a track just for you. “Red Crust Ow” is a riot grrrl-tinged rocker with plenty of fuzz to go around.

The album was produced by John Goodmanson, who has also produced Blonde Redhead, The Gossip, and Sleater-Kinney. As part of Eagle and Talon, Kim Talon has collaborated with Reggie Watts and toured with Sia and Obi Best. Needless to say, we're excited about her new project! Jan is the new solo project from Kim Talon, of Los Angeles duo Eagle & Talon. Now based in Brooklyn, Kim recorded the self-titled 12-song album with John Goodmanson (Blonde Redhead, The Gossip, Sleater-Kinney) in Seattle’s London Bridge Studios and has assembled a live band featuring Chloe Saavedra (Smoosh) and Melinda Parks (Har Mar Superstar). 'Jan' is released digitally in North America on 13th November 2012 and available in the rest of the world from October 15th. A limited edition CD will be available in the UK and USA (both Nov 13th) directly from Enclaves, with a distributed version available in stores to follow. 'Red Crust Ow' is the fourth taster of the album and is available for free download.
