A baby cheetah was born at the Jacksonville Zoo, but started losing weight soon after birth. The cub’s mother was too old to produce breast milk and therefore unable to feed it. Zookeepers sent the little cheetah to Busch Gardens, where it is currently receiving 24-hour care.
When it is grows old enough, the cub will join a group of cheetahs in the new park habitat. There are only about 12,400 cheetahs left in the wild. This cub, born in captivity is ... Read More

Chinese scientists have discovered that male mice bred without the chemical serotonin are attracted to other male mice, not females. This is the first time an isolated neurotransmitter has been easily linked to homosexuality. When serotonin is re-injected into the mice brains, they show a preference for females again.
