The sense of urgency for the help needed in Haiti is very self-evident. Time is of the essence. I think the general consensus among the compassionate, is that you need to do something, or you need to do more. Our intentions are true, but we may never really "get around to it" for one reason or another.

City Winery announced a series of Emergency Benefit Concerts to raise $100,000 in four nights to help the victims of Haiti’s catastrophic earthquake. City Winery CEO and founder Michael Dorf reached out to a broad swathe of musicians and artists and asked them to donate their time and talents to the relief efforts for the devastated nation. The response has been resoundingly positive, with many artists confirming immediately. Many more will be announced in the lead up to each show.
