When I saw these gorgeous, crafty covers, I knew you BUST readers would definitely enjoy them as well. As part of the publishing house’s Fall 2011 collection and as part of their Penguin Threads series, Penguin is planning to release these whimsical book covers for three classics. Artist Jillian Tamaki was commissioned to design hand-sewn covers for Jane Austen's Emma, Frances Hodgson Burnett’s The Secret Garden, and Anna Sewell’s Black Beauty.
Not only are these really pretty to look at, the cool thing about owning a copy is that the final covers are sculpt-embossed so that they maintain some of the texture of the original threads design.
