If you like women, rock, and women in rock (which…let’s face it, who doesn’t?), then you should probably make it a point to head to Le Poisson Rouge on Bleecker on August 18th. Why? Because they are presenting an NYC Women in Rock show, duh.

Doors are at 6:30, show’s at 7. Get there fast for your $12 tickets; seems that this thing could fill up and there’s only so much room! The acts include: Hypodive, Jennings, Lily Sparks, Anna Rose, and Kendra Morris. You can check out tickets here. A portion of the proceeds are going to the Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls. That’s right, start ‘em young. It’s like a gateway drug for awesome.
