Take a moment out of your Monday to chill to the new track from LA musician/producer Nosaj Thing.
Nosaj Thing has remixed and worked with The XX, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Beck, and Flying Lotus. Three years ago, he released his critically acclaimed debut album, Drift.
Now, for the first time, he’s incorporating guest vocals into his own music. His upcoming LP, Home, will include collaborations with Toro y Moi and Kazu Makino of Blonde Redhead.
“Eclipse/Blue” is a pulsing, ethereal electronic track with haunting, dreamy vocals from Kazu Makino of Blonde Redhead. I’ve listened to it six times in a row already and I don’t think I’m ready to stop yet.
“Eclipse/Blue” will be released as a single on 10-inch vinyl on October 2. You can preorder it on Amazon here, or head over to Soundcloud to listen to the full track now. There's also a 44-second preview available on Youtube:
