Catch the world's first boy band in high definition tonight at MoMA PS1. No excuses. Presented by DIS Magazine, tonight's event is the closing celebration for video/performance artist Ryan Trecartin's exhibition titled "Ryan Trecartin: Any Ever." Enjoy live performances by #HDBOYZ, AraabMUZIK, 15-year-old Glasspopcorn (prod. Ryder Ripps), and other special guests. You like art, you like music, and most of all you like boy bands. Be there.
DIS Magazine got to spend some time with the #HDBOYZ on their day off:
The first stop on the list was Best Buy, where they were shopping for a DLNA-compatible flat screen TV. To the employees' dismay, they wanted to try each screen out with their own image, but it wasn't until they started dancing and streaming live that security came. This was nothing new for the #HDBOYZ though; as member Tabor Robak told us, "Yeah, some people just aren't ready for the clarity we offer."
Get a little taste of the #HDBOYZ before the show.
