Our favorite synth-punk group has just released a LOL-able video for the crazy infectious “Get A Job” off their latest album A Joyful Noise. The video features the Beth, Nathan, and Hannah dancin’ around the pages of the classifieds, acting as cat groomers, phone sex operators, masseuses, telemarketers, dentists, and way more. The idea behind the song and video was inspired by growing up around rich kids whose parents paid for everything in their lives, while the band members of Gossip were sweatin’ it and working hard for the money at fast food chains. (“I’d love to stay and party but I gotta go to work.” I think we can all relate to that, amirite?) I know I won’t be able to get that beat or Beth’s voice out of my head for the rest of the day.
