I don't usually endorse anything related to Valentine's Day (which is in a week! I mean, um, who cares?!), but this is pretty cute. So I'm the worst at riding a bike. I know..seems so simple, but I wobble and shake and I'm ashamed to admit I cried when trying to get over various hills in flats that kept slipping off. I don't like fast rides, the out-of-controlness freaks me out, so the idea of fastness on a bike, maybe crashing or falling always scared me. This is one really awesome little girl. I admire her enthusiasm. I don't think I could muster up nearly as much energy in the morning to be that positive.
Let's just hope she remains as confident and assertive through puberty.

Found this awesome video of Patti Smith on an episode of the late-70's/early-80's TV show "Kids are People Too," via Lesley's blog who found it on Kathleen's blog.
