In "Well, That Was Inevitable" news, Rick Perry announced today that he's dropping his bid for the Republican presidential nomination. His campaign started out strong but faded fast after the politician's dismal performances in debates where it seemed like he couldn't remember the basic bullet points of his platform or form complete sentences.

Save the Brooklyn Birthing Center! The Brooklyn Birthing Center is the only one of its kind in the entire state of New York. Recently it has come under grave threat, as Medicaid has just cut its funding. If the funding does not become reinstated, the center will be forced to close. A federal judge has blocked key parts of a Texas abortion law that would require doctors to provide a sonogram to pregnant women before they go through with the procedure. As written, the law would require women seeking an abortion in Texas to view a picture of the embryo or fetus and hear a description of its development before having the procedure.
