Last week I caught a screening of Hit So Hard, the documentary about Hole drummer Patty Schemel, and despite some of its flaws (hokey title screens, confusing cuts, and about 20 minutes too many), I highly recommend it for any Hole fans. What I really took away from it though, is what an awesome drummer Patty is, and since female drummers are oft-overlooked and still rather few and far between, it inspired me to do a little video roundup of some of my favorite bands featuring femmes behind the kit. Of course this is far from comprehensive, so feel free to shoutout to your fave lady drummers in the comments. I wanna know who you love!
