In a recent post by Gawker, Brian Moylan recounts the many ways Betty White is on top of her game right now.  Whether starring in movies, a Super Bowl ad, or sitcoms, Betty White's staying power and ability to poke fun at roles traditionally allocated to elderly women has garnered herself a newfound respect from her audience and reminded us why we've loved her all along.  And as Moylan writes, this particular type of love for Betty is sincere.  She's not making fun of how outdated some of the things she's done in the past are or relying on irony or nostalgia.  She's staying relevant in new ways and giving us even more reasons to love her more than we already did.
