Rock Bottom, the new cabaret show written by and starring Bridget Everett with songwriting by Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman, Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz, and Matt Ray, has quite an unforgettable tagline: "Pure heart. Dirty show."

It's Everett's first major production since At Least It's Pink in 2007. This new show will feature brand new songs as well as songs from Everett's sold-out showcase with her band The Tender Moments.

The production will start September 9 and go through October 11, as part of a full theatrical run for The Public Theater's 2014-15 season. If you've never seen the talented Bridget Everett at work, her YouTube clips will definitely surprise you, delight you, and give you a hint what the show will be like. The theater, located at 425 Lafayette Street in N.Y.C., describes the sensual chaos that ensues in the show: "Everett barrels through life tip-toeing toward disaster, wine bottle by wine bottle and man by man."
