Please join us for the 2008 National Organization for Women Annual Conference, which will take place at the Hyatt Bethesda in Bethesda, Maryland from Friday, July 18th to Sunday, July 20th.
The evening before the conference opens, we invite you to join us in paying tribute to Intrepid Women at our gala, 6pm at the Museum of Women and the Arts. We will be honoring CBS anchor Katie Couric, civil rights legend Dr. Dorothy Irene Height, former Attorney General Janet Reno, labor leader Linda Chavez-Thompson, and pioneering attorney Marna Tucker.
There will be a special general session and workshop track on global feminism issues and strategies, exciting political and organizing sessions and an entire plenary devoted to the hot topic of the day - the impact of media sexism and stereotypes on women and girls.
You can register for the conference at our registration website https://www.now.org/registration.html. Registration is open to all and there is a sliding scale for NOW members. Also, you can make your room reservations at the Hyatt Bethesda through the NOW conference website.
