Hello again! Us lady bakers over here at camp Sweet Tooth of the Tiger have been hard at work delivering delicious cookies and cupcakes to hungry communities! Last month we were seen at Monster Island's annual block party during the big rainstorm, under the arches at the historical Grand Army Plaza with Design Trust for Public Space, and celebrating food and culture with Eve + Bowie and other food artists at 3rd Ward for The Last Supper festival! We're making a cameo at Fred Flare's GRAND opening "red carpet" shopping event at their NEW store, STORE CUTE this month! We'll have super cute mini cupcakes and peanut butter and chocolate sandwich cookies, as well as some yummy savory treats! Hooray for snacks! Sweet Tooth of the Tiger, the rad renegade bake sale in Brooklyn and NYC, is in full effect this fall. In lieu of a brick and mortar bakery, we are instead invited by members of our community to awesome events to set up our bake sale table and engage with participants by selling baked goods for cheap. Further, Sweet Tooth of the Tiger explores a nostalgia for the bake sale through the performance of social engagement over sugary confections. In exchange for a few dollars, participants will be encouraged to use the positive energy from their sugar high to facilitate a harmonious community. In essence, Sweet Tooth of the Tiger sells delicious sweet treats to make people happy!
