Hosted By: TAMU-CC Women’s Center
Thursday Nov 06, 2008 at 5:30 PM
University Center Lonestar Ballroom
6300 Ocean Drive
Corpus Christi, Texas|44 78412
The Women's Center for Education and Service will be displaying and celebrating the artistic talents of our TAMU-CC students on Thursday, November 6th from 5:30-8:00pm in the University Center Lonestar Ballroom. Artists will be on hand to display their work and possibly selling their artwork. There will also be a floorshow that will showcase different performing arts, such as singing, dancing, and poetry readings.
There will also be several interactive art stations set up throughout the ballroom that attendees are invited to visit and learn new skills. This year our stations will include jewelry making, make-up application, holiday card making (all cards will be donated to Christus Spohn Bayfront hospital), cake decorating for only $5, knitting, and theraputic collage making.
This event is free and open to the public. Free henna will also be provided to all attendees from 6:00-8:00pm by local artist Sandi Clark. For more information please contact the Women's Center at 361-825-2792 or email us at womens.center@tamucc.edu.
