This will be Woodgate's second solo show with the gallery for which the space will be transformed into a theater for one night only.
Woodgate invites the audience to her photo shoot - experiencing a daunting performance and witnessing her process as she creates her next photographic series, "Rapunzel." This will be Woodgate's 3rd performance in her ongoing "Fairy Tale" series.
The one night improvised performance consists of a sculptural installation, which becomes the backdrop for Woodgate as she is adorned with a massive 30-Foot long Rapunzel-esq wig painstakingly spun by the artist with human hair. Joining the artist for the first time as a character in the theatrical performance will be Woodgate's mother, Teresita Sabatte. Also, local Miami collaborators Federico Nessi and Alexander Puentes will be providing the score that will dictate Woodgate's performance. The performance starts at 8pm and runs continuously through 10pm.
