On Friday, November 21st from 7 to 10 pm 3rd Ward will present their 3rd Solo Show Artist, Sean Fader .
Judges Clay Rockefeller & Anita Durst selected Sean from hundreds of applicants to 3rd Ward's Fall Open Call . At his opening event, Mr. Fader will display pieces from his collection I want to Put You On, Tell Me How to Put You on, in which he appears zipped into the bodies of people whom he admires & covets. His seamless photographs are "counter-posed with messy, funny, uncomfortable, and charged psychological and intersubjective negotiations that make the work alluring and, ultimately, unsettling," says art historian David Getsy.
