Shop N Mingle Without Breaking The Bank… 18 Emerging Brands Host The Ultimate Shopping Party Harriet’s Alter Ego heads to Harlem on December 6 and December 7 to host their successful annual shopping event; Shop N Mingle, which brings together hundreds of chic shoppers & tastemakers. With amenities that include an open bar, complimentary beauty makeovers and free product samples, Shop N Mingle has become a much-anticipated event for the last 4 years. Shop N Mingle showcases a stellar group of designers and brands offering great merchandise at affordable prices. “Nowadays, consumers need more bang for their buck, designers and retailers really need to offer their customers something special,” states Shop N Mingle coordinator and co-owner of Harriet’s Alter Ego, Ngozi Odita. “Shop N Mingle is all about catering to shoppers, and truly making shopping an experience” Shop N Mingle attendees can peruse the offerings of an eclectic mix of fashion, accessory, jewelry, beauty and home décor brands. Featured brands include Laidback; a line of pop culture inspired home décor items; Luxe Essentials; all natural body and beauty care products, Junkprints; limited-edition t-shirt for men and women and Harriet’s Alter Ego, a collection of African and vintage inspired apparel for women. Dubbed “Uptown’s Premier Shopping Event”, this years Shop N Mingle takes place at the 8,000 sq ft gallery space of the historic National Black Theater located at 2031 Fifth Avenue (Btw 126th & 127th Streets) in Harlem, New York. The festivities kick off Saturday, December 6 from 3pm to 9pm and continue Sunday, December 7 from 1pm to 7pm. Event highlights include a fashion show and live DJ sets. Attendees who make a purchase will also receive a coveted Shop N Mingle goody bag courtesy of corporate sponsors. This years sponsors include Going.com , Uptown Magazine, Steaz, The L Magazine, Experience: Harlem, Miss Jessie’s, Dr. Miracles, The New York Sports Club, Larabar, FEED Granola, Robert’s American Gourmet, Fusicology and Zip Car.
