The Theater for the New City presents "The Lonely Soldier Monologues: Women at War in Iraq", a play based on the book by Helen Benedict. The play faces the issues women soldiers in Iraq must deal with such as race, sex, homophobia and misogyny through seven monologues comprised of the words of the actual soldiers who experienced them. The show runs March fifth through the 22nd with Thursday through Saturday showings at 8:00 PM and Sunday showings at 3:00 PM. Tickets are $15 or $10 for students.
