 On March 14, 2010, for the first time ever, jokes will be told topless in the name of breast cancer at GENEROSI-TITTIES! What is GENEROSI-TITTIES? It’s full-frontal philanthropy: A topless comedy show to benefit the Young Survival Coalition.
Presented by Comix, produced by Leah Dubie (Tru TV, LOGO) and Amy Beckerman (HBO, MTV) and headlined by internationally renowned comedian Elvira Kurt (The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Montreal’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival), GENEROSI-TITTIES will donate 100 percent of the proceeds to The Young Survival Coalition (YSC). YSC is an international organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women with breast cancer. To date, YSC has helped tens of thousands of young women across the United States. Beckerman is personally affected by the disease. “I met my friend Meghan when she was going through cancer treatment. I was shocked that she was so young. Nobody thinks that women our age get breast cancer. YSC is working to change that and we are happy to help. But this is how we help…partially nude,” joked Beckerman.
