A Benefit Party with Constance McMillen and the ACLU at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, NY

"ALL LOVE, ALL WOODSTOCK" will begin with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at 7 p.m., followed by a live auction including celebrity swag and autographed memorabilia from actors and musicians like Lady Gaga, MaggieGyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, Lucinda Williams and rock band Cobra Starship. About Constance McMillen
Constance McMillen is an 18 year-old lesbian teenager from Fulton, Mississippi who made national headlines recently when her high school chose to cancel its prom rather than let Constance attend with her girlfriend and wear a tuxedo. Then, when the school was ordered to put on another event for the students, the parent body actively worked to exclude Constance and several other students, including several learning disabled students, from the festivities. A lawsuit filed by the ACLU is currently in the courts on Constance's behalf. Constance has been openly "out" as lesbian since middle school and has been the target of much malicious, hate-filled and threatening behavior. We applaud Constance's decision to press ahead with a lawsuit that places blame squarely on the heads of the adults responsible for her well-being.
