Duration: 3 Hours

Arcade Fire will take the stage at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, August 4 and Thursday, August 5. They will be joined by special guests Spoon.

The celebrated Canadian rock band, Arcade Fire, will return to the U.S for a headlining tour in support of their third album, The Suburbs. Scheduled for release on August 3, The Suburbs was written, arranged, performed and produced by Arcade Fire and co-produced by Markus Dravs. A double A side, limited edition 12" was released to record stores on May 27 and features the title track and "Month of May," both of which are available for immediate download with album pre-orders placed at arcadefire.com.

Spoon originated in 1994 as a collaboration between Britt Daniel (vocals/guitar) and Jim Eno (drums) and a rotating cast of supporting players. Their hybrid of indie and punk resulted in a number of Sonic Youth and Pixies comparisons after their 1996 debut album,Telephono. Spoon's new and seventh album,Transference, was released in January.

Arcade Fire will donate $1 from every ticket sold to Partners In Health, an organization helping impoverished communities around the world combat disease and poverty. Please visit www.pih.org for more information.
