The Blow's Khaela Maricich is hitting the road this November, embarking on a headlining tour of North America's Northeast, showcasing a body of new material before heading into the recording studio. Fresh off a spate of festival appearances and tours opening for Vampire Weekend and Jens Lekman, The Blow has been showcasing a new body of song and narrative stage performance that accompanies the music in a large venue format. The New York Times said of The Blow's new performance at Joe's Pub in July, "The performance was an elaborate cabaret... They were terrific, the new songs, believable as identity-bending pop... or as deeply felt parody or as chipper performance art."
