Multi-platinum singer-songwriter and Grammy Award nominee KT Tunstall will launch a headlining tour of North America this fall that begins on October 31st in Portland, OR and criss-crosses the country throughout November before culminating in a show in New York City at Terminal 5 on December 1st. New York’s Hurricane Bells will appear as support on all dates. Tickets go on-sale beginning Sept 10th.
The tour will support her brand-new album Tiger Suit, which will be released by Virgin Records on October 5th, 2010. Recorded in January at Berlin’s world-famous Hansa Studios, Tiger Suit heralds the beginning of a new musical adventure for Tunstall. Organic instrumentation is blended with dance-friendly textures, the results of which she has dubbed “Nature Techno” to encapsulate the album’s collision of raw, upfront rootsiness and sleek electronic textures.
