Giulia Rozzi is a NYC based comedian, actress and writer whose very personal, blunt, and animated comedy has earned her the honor of being a Boston Comedy Festival finalist, one of The Friskys "Top 15 Comediennes You Should Be Laughing At" and two ECNY Best Female Stand Up nominations. She's appeared on MTV, Vh1, Italian Mtv, CNN, and is the co-host of the popular and highly acclaimed sex-themed storytelling show Stripped Stories at the UCB Theatre in NYC. In 2010 she released her first comedy album "A Very Pretty Name" with Comix Live on Tape on iTunes and Amazon. As a writer Giulia has contributed to Playgirl, NY Press, Lemondrop, Lifetimetv.com, Gawker, The Huffington Post, and was recently a staff writer for season four of the MTV series Silent Library. Giulia is currently writing her first memoir. Al Jackson has been seen on television screens across America, beginning with his being featured on multiple episodes of NBC’s Last Comic Standing in 2004. NBC went on that year to recognize Jackson as a finalist in their Stand up for Diversity contest. A 2006 appearance on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham led to a segment on Comedy Central’s Friday Night Stand-up and being named as a national spokesman for Comedy Central’s Address The Mess Campaign to advance awareness of social issues. 2008 saw appearances on the show MTV’s MVP’s, a recurring role on F’N MTV for the MTV Network as well as a return to NBC on Last Comic Standing which included a dedicated five minute profile segment. Jackson was also a featured comedian on ABC’s Comics Unleashed With Byron Allen. Online, Jackson can be found reviewing films for Current TV and the Webby nominated web program, The Weekly Evil for Comedy Central. Al Jackson has been heavily featured on XM Radio Comedy Channel 150 since 2006, is a regular guest on the syndicated Cooper Lawrence Show and in the spring of 2009 made his debut on the Opie and Anthony Show on XM Radio making him part of an elite group of comics invited to sit on the live syndicated program. 2010 has already been good to Al as he has appeared on Nick Cannon’s Hatin’ 09 and was the featured coach on the Al’s hour-long MTV special “MADE”. Mehran Khaghani is a standup comedian, comedic director, and comedy event producer based in the Boston Metro area, of Iranian descent. In 2010, a reader survey in the Boston Phoenix named him Boston's best comedian of the year. He has toured with Maz Jobrani's Brown and Friendly Tour and in his first year competing, ranked in the top 8 in the Boston International Comedy Festival. |
