This April marks four year anniversary of HyperGender. Founded in 2007 as a part of the month long festival at WOW Cafe Theater, HyperGender matured into a sexy, monthly post neo (because post is the new neo) burlesque show that brings not only burlesque artists but drag performers, poets, video artists, musicians and those who just don't fit in any categories. April 2nd show appropriately called "Sex Sells" because after all we do sell you our sexuality will be co-hosted by JZ Bich and her guest co-host and one of the initial members of HyperGender team, Bunny Nose Best. Bich and Bunny duo brings you a feast of performers and some yummy cupcakes to celebrate our birthday! Velocity Chyaldd, the lead singer of Vulgaras, producer of Bad Ass! burlesque and one of those who started all this neo burlesque madness brings her mesmerizing sexiness!
Jezebel Express is a burlesque performer, teacher and performer, she will mesmerize you with her curves and she takes no prisoners! Essence, starring in commercials by day, selling sensual lap dances in upscale gentleman's clubs by night claims that "Her hips don't lie but she does, navigating like a ninja between double worlds" Sweet Lorraine is so easy on the eyes you might cry! This burlesque beauty is sure to win you over one sweet shimmy at a time! Rosabelle Selavy may be a new comer to the NYC stripping stages but she is not your average cup cake --- HyperGender is excited to welcome her to our family. LeRoi Prince has been winning crowns and breaking hearts from the Midwest to New England to his new home in the Big Apple, are you ready to have your heart broken? Special guest - singer, song writer and overall performance persona Charlie Demos is premiering his new video/performance "Lights Fall Down".
