The Mayday! Underground Crafts + Art aims to bring the people of Rochester a unique shopping experience. Inspired by the handmade movement sweeping the nation, this event seeks to bring local artists, craftspeople, and musicians together to benefit the community. Here, you can purchase awesome handmade items ranging from housewares to jewelry that were made by independent businesses rather than big-box stores. You’ll find unique, funky, and fresh designs that are all one-of -a-kind.
The next Mayday Underground is scheduled for May 7, 2011 from 10am – 4pm at the Main Street Armory. We’ll have even more vendors, even more free stuff, and even more fun! Like us on facebook and join our mailing list. As always, free admission!
