Following some of the worst attacks on reproductive rights in recent history, the Planned Parenthood of New York City Action Fund (PPNYC Action Fund), the political arm of the organization, will be throwing its fourth annual “Politics, Sex, and Cocktails” event to bring young activists together with elected officials to talk reproductive rights and politics over drinks. Held at Lower East Side hot spot The Delancey, the event will include short educational sessions with PPNYC clinical staff members and Action Fund strategists, as well as the chance to mingle with local politicians. The event will also feature a photo booth, make-your-own-button station, and $2 off regularly-priced drinks.
