<Amazingly Queer Race>

If you want to be a racer, it's not too late to register for our crazy event at www.queerrace.com! Grab your best friend, your sparkly costume, and your scavenger-hunting skills, then sign up soon to start fundraising!

If you just have a few seconds, you can let everyone know about the race by posting a link in Facebook to get your friends and family excited and encourage them to donate. Just taking a moment to do this can make a huge difference for our turnout.

And even if you don't want to race, you can still check out the fabulous costumes, events, food, and performances as a volunteer... with the bonus perk of watching the racers perform outrageous tasks!) If you're available Saturday, May 14, email race@q4ej.org to sign up.

We're also trying something new this year and asking our volunteers to video tape all the zany events. So, if you can lend your digital video camera for the day (or bring it to the event that you're running), we'd be very appreciative! We've got a wonderful videographer who will be editing the footage into an amazingly queer montage after the race.

And finally, if you won't be around on May 14th, but can't stand the thought of missing out on the challenges of running it yourself, we're also looking for four people to do a trial run of the course the weekend before, on Saturday, May 7th.
