We couldn’t be more excited to announce that the 2nd Annual Renegade Craft Fair inAustin will be May 21 + 22, 2011, from 11am – 7pm at the Palmer Events Center! Featuring hundreds of today’s most exciting makers of handmade goods and severalhands-on crafting activities, our free-to-attend indie-craft marketplace is sure to begood rollicking funFoodbeverages and libations will also be available!

At the Renegade Craft Fair you can expect to find only the best indie-craft and DIY artisans! Featuring both local and national talent, shoppers can anticipate a vast arrayof independently designed jewelry, clothing, paper goods, home + garden goods, posters, artwork, plush objects, bath + body products, and so much more!!

At the Fair, attendees can get crafty by participating in a number of interactive workshops, and find inspiration from local independent businesses who keep Austin in the loop with all-things creative.

The talented makers at Public School, a unique Austin-based design collective, will be back with their eye-catching merchandise and their ever-popular themed-photo booth to capture all the fun at the Fair.

Part boutique, part classroom, part awesomely-shiny Airstream – Austin’s The WonderCraftwill be on site with their trailer, Stella,leading a variety of accessory workshops, selling their wares, and signing people up for creative classes that are sure to inspire.

Always on the pulse of what is hip in the contemporary arts + culture scene, Domy Books will be on site selling books and zinesfound at their Austin and Houston locations.

Artists from The Houston Center for Contemporary Craft will be on hand leading workshops in creative origami, providing demonstrations with various craft mediums, and educating attendees about the process, product and history of craft.

Attendees can commemorate their trip to The Renegade Craft Fair by visiting the free photo booth provided byThe Magnolia Photo Booth Co., or relive their youth at the Fair’s free Friendship Bracelet Making Boothprovided by The Renegade Gang.

At this year’s Fair DJs from Waterloo Records, a cornerstone in the Austin music scene, will provide our soundtrack, spinning soul, pop, and rock tracks for attendees; and food and beverages will be available for purchase, in addition to nutrition bars provided by LUNA bar.

Not to be missed is a curated selection of artist’s wares from the Renegade Handmade Store(www.renegadehandmade.com), given away via numerousfree raffles taking place over the course of the weekend.
