 Days for Girls is a non-profit organization that makes and distributes washable sanitary pad kits to women in impoverished communities. Young women across the globe miss school and work once a month because of a lack of funds to buy basic sanitary products -- just one feminine hygiene kit can improve a girl's life immensely.
Stop by Otto's Shrunken Head Tiki Bar & Lounge any time between noon and 5 PM to help cut and assemble reusable sanitary pads and kits. All sewing skill levels are welcome -- even non-sewers are needed to help cut materials. Plus, Bloody Mary specials and free copies of BUST Magazine!
