About the class and Bettina May:

The classes are taught by world-renowned pin-up model and burlesque star Bettina May—the Canadian burlesque ambassador who recently appeared dancing on the season finale of Real Housewives of NYC! She has performed, photographed, and taught pin-up modeling in Germany, France, Portugal, and across the United States and Canada. After a year and a half of nonstop touring, Bettina recently settled in New York, where she performs weekly in Manhattan and Brooklyn, teaches pin-up classes, and gives private makeovers.

The class is fun and empowering, perfect for moms, professionals, students, and gals who want to glam up their lives and get a boost of self-confidence. The full-day workshop includes fabulous hair and makeup instruction, techniques for posing for photos, and ends in a fun photoshoot.

The Pin-Up Class was recently featured on NBC’s luxury lifestyle program “First Look.” Bettina May has appeared in numerous publications, including Shimmy magazine and Germany’s Dynamite magazine.

Her pin-up class has received rave reviews in The New York Times and on NBC News, and was released as an instructional DVD from WorldDanceNewYork.com.
