Spank Rock will be performing September 7 in Edmonton, AB at Rexall Place!
Spank Rock, the Baltimore-born rapper widely regarded as the progenitor of the electro-rap trend that has shaped a great deal of urban and pop music in the U.S. over the last 5 years, has announced a series of summer dates opening for LMFAO and Ke$ha on her pending national tour. Since the release of his debut album YoYoYoYoYo in 2006, Spank Rock, aka Naeem Juwan, has toured at home and abroad with the likes of Beck, Mark Ronson, The Beastie Boys, Bjork and Ghostface Killah, among many others. Spank Rock's performances have garnered a reputation of unbridled, electric energy, inducing wall-sweating dance parties in venues across the globe.
The tour will prime audiences for Spank Rock's sophomore, Boys Noize-produced full-length,Everything is Boring And Everyone is A Fucking Liar due September 27th on Bad Blood Records. Anchored by the appropriately titled lead single, "Energy", the album sees Spank Rock fully realizing his sound- smart, introspective, slightly filthy, and ultimately fun.
