The Femme Show Celebrates their “Femme Five” with their fifth-annual Boston area performance September 30 and October 1st at 8:00 PM at the Cambridge Family YMCA Theatre.
The Femme Show offers dance, burlesque, comedy, spoken word and performance art, all grounded in a smart, sassy, and highly personal take on queer femme identity and femininity. This year, we offer new work along with some of our greatest hits. This is queer art for queer people; challenging, introspective, brazen, funny, sexy, and gritty but always powerful.
The Femme Show plays September 30 and October 1st at 8:00 PM at the Cambridge Family YMCA Theatre, located at 820 Massachusetts Avenue in Central Square, Cambridge, MA. Advance tickets are available for $12 through www.thefemmeshow.com, and tickets will be available at the door for $15.
Saturday’s performance will be ASL interpreted. Both shows feature community vendors and a bake sale to benefit the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition. There will be an after party Friday night sponsored by MadFemmePride.
