This August our film series "Women and their Cameras" will screen exactly that: women shooting snapshots in these unforgettable movies. This series complements the art exhibition "Candid" about India's first female photojournalist Homai Vyarawalla and the legacy of her career. Each film will be introduced by renowned New York-based photographers who just happen to have XX chromosomes. Whether the characters are inventive auteurs or enthusiastic shutterbugs, these ladies capture their stories. |
