SON OF A PREACHER MAN

What happens when the lines between the sacred and the secular get tangled?

 

Son of a Preacher Man, Produced by DTEG, Inc. along with Rivers at Rehoboth, Written by Vascola Stoney along with Kellie Turner and Dominique Denman also Directed by Dominique Denman will be presented at the Theatre of the Riverside Church located at 91 Claremont Ave. NYC Saturday, September 15, 2012 with shows at 2PM and 7PM.

Son of a Preacher Man follows the relationship between a preacher's son with an unconventional lifestyle and a preacher who allow the lines between the sacred and the secular to get tangled and cause the grip on his spirituality to slip. This production stars Marcus Dargan, K. Corbett Turner, R. Fowler, Lettie Battle, Christian Baxter, Nefertiti Warren, Sonja Price, Angelique Chapman, Geraldine Flood, Deonte Warren and Douglas Sanders.

 

Denman Turner Entertainment Group is a production company geared toward live entertainment. Founded by Dominique Denman and Kellie Turner, DTEG is committed to bringing quality entertainment to various communities locally, nationally and worldwide. We are a multi-media production entity geared towards providing an outlet for artists from various backgrounds in addition to providing employment for those whose interests are behind the scenes. DTEG produces published works as well as new works by up and coming artists. We provide productions for organizations interested in fundraising, as well as corporate entertainment. Additionally, DTEG is home for The Harlem Messengers. The Harlem Messengers have toured internationally for the past eight years. During the months of November and December, the Harlem Messengers entertain thousands of people in Japan and Italy with their powerful gospel concerts. Prior to forming The Harlem Messengers, both Ms. Denman and Ms. Turner performed with various singing groups and in various professional theatrical productions.
