Miranda July has designed a special evening of storytelling in which the audience becomes a generous and active player in the art of monologue. Knowing that even the smallest thing can hold deep sentiment and an unseen value, Miranda solicits several volunteers from the audience to interview and who provide a personal item that will be put up for sale over the course of the performance. The evening illustrates Miranda’s particular approach to modern art, one which thrives in the space where the ordinary becomes revelatory. |
