Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts 2013 to Host a Series of Google HangOuts

HangOuts Will Enable the Media and Public to Ask the Artists Questions and Learn About Their Work

WHAT:            Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts 2013 will host a series of Google HangOuts over the next several weeks featuring a different panel of artists in each session. The HangOuts are designed to garner interest from the media and the public regarding PIFA 2013, which launches March 28 and runs through April 27 at The Kimmel Center. The HangOuts will be conducted according to the artists’ themes -- natural science, health care, information technology and a separate HangOut for the Time Machine. There will be a live Twitter feed where the media and public can ask questions for the panel moderator to pass on to the artists.

This first HangOut’s topic is moments in women’s health care.
