The Brooklyn Zine Fest 2013 will be held on Sunday April 21st, 2013 at Public Assembly (70 N 6th Street) in Williamsburg. The BZF is FREE & open to the public, featuring writers and artists showcasing their self-published works at prices between $1 and $10.

ALL AGES and open to everyone, though you must be 21 to order a drink at the bar.

With more than 60 tablers and over 1,500 attendees our first year, the Brooklyn Zine Fest is NYC's premiere zine event.  If you have any questions or suggestions for BZF 2013, partnership proposals, or zine-related news, please feel free to contact us.

WHAT'S A ZINE?

A zine (pronounced "zeen") is a self-published magazine, often small in circulation, almost always focusing on a topic or viewpoint not covered elsewhere.  Created by writers, artists, comedians, researchers, amateurs, and professionals of all kinds, zines can be personal or collaborative, sleek or cut-and-paste, color or black-and-white.  If you've got an interest in something, chances are there's a zine about it; and with the best zines from New York City and beyond, you'll be able to find it at the Brooklyn Zine Fest!
