 A ceremony celebrating the women who inspire us.
Awards and performances are at 7 pm.
We will be honoring Tayari Jones, Amma Cookson, and Tamra Davis. Performances featuring orignal work by a Girls Write Now mentee and Maya Nussbaum, the founder and executive director. All ticket sales benefit Girls Write Now, the award-winning afterschool program that combines mentoring and writing in the context of all-girl programming. Each individual ticket is tax-deductible less $50. Supporters who commit $1,000 or more to the event will be recognized as members of the Host Committee. |
